Our  40 gallon ex Whisky barrel staves are made from top grade quarter sawn American white Oak being tight grain, knot free and seasoned by air drying in the open air for eighteen months to two years.

The staves are approxiamatley 35" (88cm) long and about 1" (2.5cm) thick and are of various widths. Staves are bowed with a taper along there length, whisky staves are charred on the inside.

Customers often use these staves to make beautiful chairs, benches,tables, stools and barrel decor. etc with these authentic vintage staves.

The staves are sold by the pallet approximately 375 to 400 staves per pallet.

NB the stave lengths will vary since these  paleets are made up from staves from a number of different casks which will mean they are of slightly differing lengths.The width of the staves are random so will also vary too from approx 1" (2.5cm )to 6" (15cm).in width.
