These pebble pools have a two-piece base. The bottom section is bucket shaped with a large flanged top. This is the part that goes into the ground, holds the water for circulation and houses the fountain pump. The top section is simply a disk with a hole at the centre for the fountain head to pass through.

 

Installation is shown below. A hole is dug in the ground and the pebble pool is positioned in it. The fountain pump stands in the bottom of the base and the fountain head projects out through the disk shaped top. Once the disk is fitted it can be covered with the stones of your choice. The pump has 10m of cable, which is usually long enough to get to an indoor power socket. If the cable is too short then it can be extended using a suitably IP rated outdoor connector.
