The Vineyard Water Feature consists of a large half-oak barrel base and three small oak half barrels standing on a plinth.

 

Overall height approx. 4ft (120cm).

 

Water flows from wine barrel taps in each of the three small half barrels to give a real vineyard feel to the feature. The water is circulated from the base by a 240V pond pump with 10M cable. Additional water is only required for periodic topping-up. The small half barrels themselves do not actually contain any water and are open topped such that they may be filled with soil and planted. Tubing connects the taps to the pond pump.

 

This feature is most attractive when planted with trailing plants to bring a true vineyard ambience. The photograph to the left shows two of the Vineyard's 7-inch wooden taps. When the electric pond pump is in operation water flows from all three taps in to the base.
