Our recycled long Vintage Butt Staves are made from top grade quarter sawn European white Oak being dense and tight grained, these staves started life in Spain maturing Sherry then were subsequently filled with Malt whiskies in Scotland, most are well over 50 years old.

These long staves are approx 51" (128cm) in length approx 1.5"(37mm) thick, supplied in various widths. Staves are bowed with a taper along there length, butt staves are lightly toasted on the inside with a weathered patina on the outside.

Customers make beautiful chairs, benches,tables etc with these vintage staves.
