This water feature from Rockways has the appearance of an old tree stump and is specially designed to emanate the sound of falling water at a level normally produced by a much larger waterfall.

 

Made from fibreglass and finished to look like an old tree stump its rustic appearance makes it ideal for nestling in amongst bushes and trees. With a pond pump connected water emerges from the top of the stump flowing outwards and down the sides of the stump.

 

There are three openings part way down the sides of the stump and the feature is shaped such that the water flows into these openings. This water then falls inside the hollow stump to the base of the feature where it collects in a reservoir. A submersible pond pump should be located in this reservoir to circulate the water.

 

The feature is designed to resonate with the sound of the water falling into the pool inside the hollow stump. This resonance creates the loud sound of falling water similar to that heard from a waterfall.

 

Water from the pond is circulated through the feature by a submersible pond pump. A pond pump is not included with the feature but a suitable mains 240V ac pump is available to order as an option above.
