A pebble pool is simply a heavy duty plastic sump which is normally dug into the ground which houses the submersible pump in a reservoir of water.The sump is then covered with either a plastic perforated lid or metal grid which allows the water to pass through and return to the sump for recirculation, the lid/grid is usually covered with decorative stone to give the desired finish.
